Depression Is A “Potential Threat” To Bermuda
[Updated] Tropical Depression Eight is currently located east-southeast of Bermuda and could become a tropical storm later today [Sept 9], the National Hurricane Center said, while the Bermuda Weather Service has said that it is a “potential threat to Bermuda.”
The BWS said that its closest point of approach to Bermuda within 72 hrs is forecast to be 163 nautical miles to the east at 2.00am on Thursday September 10th.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center said, “At 5.00am AST, the center of Tropical Depression Eight was located near latitude 30.9 North, longitude 61.4 West. The depression is stationary, but it is expected to begin moving northward later today.
“Maximum sustained winds remain near 35 mph [55 km/h] with higher gusts. Slow strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the depression could become a tropical storm later today.”

Update 12pm: The NHC’s latest update, done at around 12 noon today, says the system remains a depression and it is “expected to pass well east of Bermuda.” The latest BWS update, also done at 12 noon, continues to say the depression remains a “potential threat to Bermuda.”

Let it come, we need something to shake this Island up.
Then they would see that Bermudians are important after all.
And u need to go play outside during peak storm conditions. May i suggest top cliffs on horseshoe bay perhaps
