Traffic Statistics Show Collisions ‘Trending Down’
The Bermuda Police Service released the traffic statistics from January until end of August, saying that “collisions are trending down in all categories when the same period of 2014 is compared to 2015.”
In 2014 there were 493 damage collisions, as compared to 404 in 2015. Last year saw 387 slight injury collisions, which dropped to 378 in 2015, while there were 82 collisions resulting in serious injury in 2014, which decreased to 78 in 2015.

Would be interesting to see if the insurance company numbers confirm a decrease or is merely that police no longer attend some damage only accidents, looks like only a small decrease when an injury occurs which would have involved a police report.
Kudoes to the police… they’re finally watching the roads, and people are starting to take notice. Less stupidity allowed = less accidents.

Is this because most accidents aren’t reported anymore. A lot of ppl don’t even bother calling the police anymore and just deal with it on their own. My vehicle was struck from behind but not reported so… these reports aren’t very accurate just saying
