Photos: America’s Cup Jam Music Concert
Despite the less than welcoming weather, large crowds made their way to Front Street last night [Oct 17] for the America’s Cup Jam presented by Fidelity International, which was headlined by international reggae artists Shaggy and Maxi Priest.
People, many carrying umbrellas, packed the viewing area to enjoy the concert and gave the entertainers a warm reception as they performed many of their hits from over the years.
The America’s Cup festivities are set to continue today, with three races scheduled in what has been billed as a “Super Sunday”, with today having more points on offer than any other day in the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series to date.

Really really really!
“Big tings” went / go on in Bermuda!!! Looks like it’s somewhat a success.(Contrary to “certain peoples” desires)
Overwhelming success. You defiantly missed out if you didn’t attend.
Pay $100 to stand in the rain, for real.
Shows and entertainment like this is good but what the difference between this and the bermuda heroes weekend celebrations? just because bermudas government is benefiting from this is event is the difference. everyone is worrien about self gain and not the overall betterment of the island. so since you had this event i think you should continue to host the bermuda heroes weekend events! and stop being so vanity minded! peace out
Its called selective diversity.
Tin foil hat time….again!
Awesome night Maxi P and Shaggy!! Bermudian entertainment was really good too! Too bad about the rain, but you can only get wet once…then just accept it! Parents, please be aware of what your kids are doing at these events, excessive drinking, scanty clothing, inappropriate behaviour, and lack of self awareness, espically from the young girls – a dangerous formula.
