The concert was held in honour of the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Kailash Satyarthu and Malala Yousafzai “for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education”.

The concert, hosted by Queen Latifa, also featured performances from Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Swedish pop star Seinabo Sey. It was also attended by members of the Norwegian Royal Family, and was broadcast worldwide to millions of viewers.

“The experience is something that I will never forget in my lifetime. Our dressing room was next to Queen Latifa’s, and after seeing our rehearsal, Steven Tyler asked us where the batteries are hidden,” Mr Ratteray said.

“Having the chance to meet Kailash Satyarthu, Malala Yousafzai and the Crown Prince and Princess of Norway was also a huge honour.”
