Minister Atherden’s Washington Trip Cost $5,077
A trip in September 2015 by Minister Jeanne Atherden to Washington, DC to attend the 54th Directing Council of the Pan American Health Organisation cost $5,077.48, according to a recent listing on the Government’s travel webpage.
The trip duration was listed as from Monday, September 28, 2015 – Friday, October 02, 2015, and the web page listing said, “The 54th Directing Council as part of the 67th session of the Regional Committee of WHO for the Americas meets once a year.
“The Council meets to review the PAHO Program and Budget 2016-2017 and the new scale of contributions together with program issues.”

How did she have no ground transportation expenses??? No taxi or Metro from hotel to meeting site and return? Surely she at least took Metro from Reagan National.
Yeah, where’s the $8,000 on limos? I thought politicians who vist DC needs limos. SUVs, on 24 hour standby.

An absolute waste of $$ to attend an unnecessary Conference! And a REDICULOUS amount for Airfare–first class, no doubt!! What’s ultimately OUTRAGEOUS,is this is the same OBA Minister that increased HIP+FCare premiums beyond affordability for many-especially Seniors!! Be ashamed of yourself Minister –you and the OBA!!!!!!!
