BITS Creates New Division, Hires Adrian Lodge
Bermuda Information Technology Services [BITS] Ltd. has created a new division to meet the needs of online and digital demand in Bermuda today, hiring Bermudian Adrian Lodge [pictured] to spearhead this effort.
Mr Lodge’s new position as Senior IT Consultant includes responsibility for the creation of websites and mobile apps, with particular focus on E-Commerce.
The company said this “new addition strengthens BITS digital services by providing clients with the newest technologies that relate to websites, apps and social media networks.
Mr Lodge was previously employed at BTC as an IT Analyst and has over fifteen years of experience in website development.
He recently completed his Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management from University of Liverpool and holds a Bachelors of Science from Ryerson University in Information Technology Management.
Mr Lodge said, “In Bermuda there are only a handful of companies who utilize E-Commerce today, and even fewer have mobile apps.
“It is only a matter of time before businesses realize the value of M-Commerce [Mobile-Commerce] as smartphone use continues to grow for both children and adults.”

“Additionally, as social media networks such as Facebook begin to offer shopping and sales functionality, BITS has expanded its digital services to include Social Media Consulting by creating, managing, and delivering top-performing social media posts and campaigns for local businesses.
