Changes To 40-Foot Shipping Containers In City
The City of Hamilton announced a “significant change to the way it manages the use and movement of 40-foot shipping containers within the city, a change that will impact all businesses in the import-export community; shipping lines, truckers and importers.
“The change involves a fee for application and is effective from January 1, 2016,” the City said.
“Everyone in the industry who uses 40-foot containers is encouraged to attend a public meeting at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce on Front St, Hamilton, where the new process will be explained and questions answered. The meeting is at 1pm on Tuesday 8th December.
“Full details will soon be posted to the City of Hamilton website, cityofhamilton.bm.”
