Driver Injured After Collision With Wall & Pole
At about 8.30pm on Thursday, November 26, first responders were dispatched to a collision on Parsons Road in Pembroke near the junction with Roberts Avenue, which involved a car driver colliding with a wall and a utility pole.
A police spokesperson said, “It appears that a car being driven along Parsons Road collided with a wall outside a nearby residence.”
“Apparently the driver, a 30-year-old Devonshire man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of a foot injury.
“The car that struck the wall, as well as an unoccupied car parked outside the home, and a utility pole, were damaged.
“Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel provided assistance at the scene and a team from BELCO dealt with the damaged utility pole.”
