Photos: Home-Grown Alternatives Crafts Show
The 20th Annual Home-Grown Alternatives show was held at the St. Paul’s Christian Education Center in Paget today [Dec 5], offering a shopping experience designed to showcase Bermuda-made arts and crafts.
Offerings at the event included home-made candy and drinks, crochet items, Bermuda sand lockets, embellished note cards, Bermuda cedar products, cedar aromatherapy, handmade jewelry, decorated tiles, knitted and crochet toys, dish cloths, cedar sachets, blown glass ornaments, glass decorations, local artists’ music and more.

In 1995 Christine Wellman and Mary Tatem decided to hold a pre-Christmas craft fair, and over the years the event has become an annual tradition, offering people a chance to get a head-start on their Christmas shopping while supporting local artisans.
