Ball Hockey: Olympiques & Mooseheads Win

The Bermuda Ball Hockey League season resumed with a double header at the PCC Hockey Rink were 19 goals was scored in a double header.

Gatineau Olympiques 6 Sarnia Sting 5

The eleven goal thriller was a see-saw battle with the Gatineau Olympiques edging the Sarnia Sting 6 – 5. Gatineau Olympiques shutout the Sarnia Sting 3 – 0 in the first Period, but the Sarnia Sting would score 3 times in the Second Period, but the Gatineau Olympiques would score once taking a 1 goal lead into the final period. Both teams would score twice in the Third Period.

The Gatineau Olympiques got six goals from six different scorers, Jacob Amlong, David Provost, Max Boivin, Ryan Wilson, Chad Cundliffe and Andrew Bonner all scored a goal each for the winners, while the Sarnia Sting got 3 goals from Jeffrey Ingelman and single strikes from Cory Caouette and Shannon Gosse.

Halifax Mooseheads 5 Vancouver Giants 3

The Halifax Mooseheads came from behind down 2 – 1 after Two Periods to defeat the Vancouver Giants 5 – 3.

The Halifax Mooseheads got 2 goals from Sebastian Robson and single strikes from Ryan Sulley, Troy Dort and Chris Grantier, while the Vancouver Giants got 2 goals from Jon Talbot and a single goal off the stick of Tom White.
