January 22, 2016

The “10 Most Fascinating People of Bermuda 2015″ series continues today with the fourth video release, featuring LGBTQ activist and social media maven Shari-Lynn Pringle.

Host Lisa Pickering introduces Ms. Pringle, a self-described pansexual, by saying, “Passionate, vocal, and a force to be reckoned with on social media, LGBTQ and human rights activist Shari Lynn Pringle consistently ranks in the top 15 of Bermuda’s Klout rankings.

“Shari Lynn’s quest for equality and community enlightenment is peppered with her own personal experiences as a daughter, a wife, a mother, and LGBTQ supporter.”

The video was produced by Lisa Pickering and Burnt House Productions and is sponsored by CellOne and the Bermuda Pharmacy Group, while Ms Pickering’s dress & accessories are by Atelerie.

We will continue to post their video releases here on Bernews over the coming days, and the “Most Fascinating Person of 2015″ will be revealed on Friday, January 29th. The entire program will be also be aired on CITV.

Bermuda has no shortage of interesting people, so if you want to suggest a candidate to Ms. Pickering for this year’s list, please feel free to email her at bermybios@gmail.com!

  10. Takbir Karriem Sharrieff says:

When one is praised for ‘coming out’and admired for their percieved ‘bravery’at what is considered taboo, incorrect,or succumbing to their weakness or passion for unacceptable behaviour in society whether it be love for drug dealing, gambling, sexual orientation, sodomy, same sex marriage or the like in society, then we should be prepared to applaud those persons who struggle against those urges and behaviors and be as forthright to support them as well.I personally like many others are against those behaviours and do not support them.Peace.
