Garbage Collection Suspended Again Today
Garbage collection was suspended on Friday, Monday, Tuesday and is suspended again today, with the Marsh Folly Depot, Government Quarry, and Airport Disposal Site also not operating today.
A spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works can advise that, due to industrial action, there will be no garbage collection today.
“However residents are encouraged to take their trash to the Tyne’s Bay public drop off which will be open daily from 8am to 7pm [extended hours] for the rest of the week. Additionally, the Marsh Folly Depot, Government Quarry, and Airport Disposal Site are not operating today.”
