BFRS Extinguish Fire At Home In St David’s
The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service extinguished a fire at a home in St David’s this afternoon, with the fire leaving the garage of the property with extensive damage.
Sgt Caleb Zuill said, “We arrived at the incident at approximately 15:25 to find flames and smoke issuing from a garage of a two storey dwelling.
“We attacked the fire initially with two men in breathing apparatus and 2 & half inch hose, after that we had approximately four vehicles respond with approximately 15 personnel on scene.
“We extinguished the fire approximately two hours later. The cause of the fire is under investigation, there was extensive damage in that lower garage and fire investigators are investigating now.”
Sgt Zuill also confirmed that there were no injuries.
