Public Meeting With Liquor Licensing Authority

“On Wednesday the 27th of April from 6.00pm-8.00pm the Bermuda Police Service in conjunction with the Liquor Licensing Authority will be hosting a public information session for all entrepreneurs and promoters looking to hold large scale events, parties or concerts in the lead up to the summer months and growing event periods like National Heroes Weekend and Cup Match.

A police spokesperson said, “The B.P.S. and L.L.A. are encouraging promoters and entrepreneurs, to attend a meeting to discuss the Islands Liquor Licensing Laws, the plans and measures that the B.P.S. and Liquor Licensing Authority will be looking for from event organizers, the National Plans to streamline the process of holding a large scale events and to have a discussion on ways forward for the island from a legislative and organizational standpoint.

“The meeting will be held within the Dame Lois Brown Evans building and any person looking to attend should confirm to Insp. Scott Devine of the Bermuda Police Service at sdevine@bps.bm or 247-1117.”
