Bermuda Forts To Be Featured By Film Producer

May 31, 2016

The award winning director of the documentary “Cities of the Caribbean Islands” presented 30 DVD copies of the film to the Minister of Tourism Development, Transport & Municipalities Michael Fahy during a visit to the island.

After making the presentation at Fort Hamilton in Pembroke, Martinique-born producer Patrick Baucelin said the gift is for the benefit of Bermuda’s libraries and schools.

He is in Bermuda filming a new documentary that will include Bermuda’s forts, after his 50-minute film in 2011 “Secrets of the Fortresses of the Caribbean” also won several international film awards.

The documentaries are the film maker’s efforts to foster tourism, providing historical context, back-dropped by beautiful island locations, to inspire travel to Caribbean destinations.
