Cricket Games Postponed Due To Funeral

The Bermuda Cricket Board has advised that due to the funeral of Fiqre Crockwell, all cricket games scheduled for this coming Sunday, 3rd July have been postponed to a later date, and said the dates of the games will be confirmed in due course.

Mr Crockwell, a well known cricketer who represented Bermuda internationally and played in Cup Match, was shot dead earlier this month on Woodlands Road.

Two men — 26 and 31 years old — have been arrested in connection with Mr Crockwell’s murder, and anyone with information about his murder is asked to contact Acting Detective Inspector Kenten Trott at the Serious Crime Unit on 717-2345 or the confidential and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.
