Aspen Appoints Head Of U.S. Primary Casualty
Bermuda-based Aspen Insurance has announced the appointment of Sean McPhillips as Senior Vice President, Head of U.S. Primary Casualty.
Based in New York and reporting to David Cohen, President and Chief Underwriting Officer, Aspen Insurance, he will lead the planning, strategy and execution of the Primary Casualty operation throughout the U.S.
He joined Aspen Insurance in early 2016 as Vice President, Primary and Excess Casualty. Prior to Aspen, Sean most recently served as Vice President and Head of Primary Casualty for CapSpecialty, where he launched the Primary Casualty department, developing underwriting guidelines, coverage forms, and a comprehensive distribution strategy.
