Olympics: Bermuda Sailors To Compete Today
Bermuda’s two Olympic sailors — Cameron Pimentel and Ceci Wollmann — are set to begin competing today [August 8] with both competitors due to race this afternoon, with Pimentel in the men’s laser class, and Wollmann in the women’s laser radial class.
The sailors will be the 3rd and 4th Bermudians to start competition in the 2016 Rio Olympics, following after rower Shelley Pearson who finished third in her heat on Saturday to advance to the quarterfinals, and swimmer Julian Fletcher who turned in a time of 1:02.73 in the men’s 100m breaststroke.
Look out for couches.
Good luck to all….we’ll be watching!
