City Advisory: Traffic Lights, Parking & Trash

The island is continuing restoration work following Hurricane Nicole, with crews from the Corporation of Hamilton out this morning [Oct 14] fixing traffic lights and cleaning the streets.

The public is requested to limit street side parking to allow staff to clean the city faster.

A spokesperson said, “Crews from the Corporation of Hamilton will be out this morning fixing traffic lights and cleaning the streets. Please limit street side parking today to allow our staff to clean the city faster.

“Trash collection in the city is back to normal. Businesses and residents in the city can place trash out at the normal times.

“There are several traffic lights out of operation in the city. Motorist are advised to use extreme caution when approaching those intersections.

“City Hall offices will remain closed today and will be open for business on Monday morning.”
