IRM To Host ‘Building Great Risk Report’ Webinar
[Updated] IRM Bermuda Regional Group will host a webinar on ‘Building A Great Risk Report’, which has been moved from October 13th to October 19th due to the impending arrival of Tropical Storm Nicole.
IRM said, “This webinar will review best practice risk reporting and how to design company-wide risk reporting that focuses on providing insight rather than data or information.
“These approaches provide enough detail to enable informed decision making at all levels without overburdening recipients with superfluous information.
“An organization’s risk management function need a thorough understanding of the constantly evolving risk reports, as well as the practical tools and techniques available to create them.
“The one hour presentation will be followed by refreshments hosted by KPMG and a short discussion, with the opportunity to network with other risk professionals on the island and learn more about the Bermuda Chapter of the IRM.
The event will be held on October 13th at 5.15pm at KPMG, Crown House, 4 Par-la-Ville Road, Hamilton, Bermuda

Update: IRM said, “It is with great regret that we must postpone the webinar: “Building A Great Risk Report” scheduled this Thursday, Oct 13th. As of this morning, Oct 11th 7:31AM, the BWS has also issued a Tropical Storm Warning, in addition to the Hurricane Watch, and said its closest point of approach to Bermuda within 72 hrs is forecast to be within 25nm of [or directly over] the Island at 8am on Thursday, Oct 13.
