Somersfield Academy To Host Two Open Houses

Somersfield Academy will host two open houses on its premises for anyone who is interested in learning more about the Children’s House event “Discover the Magic of Montessori” and the IB Middle Years Programme Event, “Discover the International Baccalaureate”.

The first open house will take place on Tuesday, October 18th from 9am – 11am. Parents are invited to “Discover the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme” a 5 year programme for students aged 11 to 16. Participants will have the opportunity to tour classrooms, experience a writing café, examination center, robotics tour and science experiments.

The second open house [previously scheduled for last week] will now also take place on Tuesday, October 18th 2016 from 5:30 – 7pm this evening of discovery will provide parents with children turning 3 in the year 2017, with a unique opportunity to tour classrooms, gain experience with the Montessori materials, and have one on one discussions with Montessori trained teachers.

Creative teaching strategies help students go beyond simply memorizing and recalling facts, to generate their own understanding and application of information. Somersfield Academy offers an education that makes a difference.
