Video: Popular YouTuber Warns Island Of Nicole

Bermuda has received warnings and a forecast about the impending arrival of Nicole from Frankie MacDonald, a popular Canadian YouTuber, who has more than 90,000 subscribers and over 20 million views.

Mr. MacDonald, who has autism, is considered an internet sensation, and his unique take on the weather has led him to be featured both on American and Canadian newscasts.

The video description says, “Hurricane Nicole is on its way for Bermuda on Thursday, October 13, 2016 and it will bring 50+ mm of rain and the winds will be very strong, gusting over 100 km/h.

“It will knock out power and bring down power lines, snapping tree branches in half and bringing down transformers, especially in Hamilton, Bermuda, and it will cause big waves crashing on the beaches and shores and the surf will be dangerous.”

“It will cause flooding and there will be a lot of puddles on the streets in Bermuda. People in Bermuda, be prepared, have your rubber boots, rain coats, and rain suits ready.

“When you go outside, wear your rain gear, rubber boots, and rain coats to keep you dry. Order your pizzas and Chinese food and buy cases of Pepsi and Coke. Have your iPads, iPods, cell phones, laptops and tablets charged and have your 3G and 4G internet ready.

“When the Hurricane gets read bad, stay indoors and don’t go outside. Make sure to have your flashlights, candles, crank up radio, generators, extra batteries, battery-operated lanterns,, and bottled water ready.

“Make sure to stay away from the beaches and don’t go near the shores of Bermuda. Take care and stay safe and don’t get caught in Hurricane Nicole. Stay dry and be safe.”

    Frankie MacDonald…God bless him. He is so passionate about the weather and getting the word out as to what’s going on. The island of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, where Frankie lives, has the most unpredictable, wild and changeable weather you could imagine. I’ve had several Cape Bretoners as friends, and they all talk as fast as Frankie…thank goodness for them, or I would never have understood a word he was saying! :-D
