PACE Division Offering Three New Certifications
The PACE Division at Bermuda College has announced three new certifications in its leadership management suite of courses that it says will provide local businesses with a new tier of business prowess and professionalism.
Romeo Ruddock, Qualifications Coordinator for the UK-based Institute for Leadership and Management international certifications said each of the courses is well-suited to the learning model for professional development in the twenty-first century.
“They are short, internationally recognised, and they deliver immediate benefit to the company or organisation,” he said. “When you have a unit of front-line managers or potential managers all drawing from a common standard of excellence in business practices and processes, they can bring transformation to your operations almost immediately.
“Bermuda is centre stage in the globalisation of business practices and performance. It used to be an outstanding manager who was valued for bringing exceptional business acumen to a particular department or office. Now, business deliverables are exponentially higher when the entire business team is working together and performing at its peak.
“Statistical data in the UK reveal that 93-percent of employers find their staff perform better after achieving their ILM qualification. That’s where “Business Bermuda” needs to live consistently, and these new courses will get you there.”
The Institute for Leadership and Management is the largest awarding body for leadership and management qualifications in the United Kingdom, with a global network of over 2,000 accredited, approved centres, including the College’s PACE Division.
- The ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management transforms those who are potential management material in to skilled, capable and confident managers.
- The ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management is designed to give practicing or aspiring first line managers a solid foundation in their formal development as a manager and team leader.
- The ILM Level 4 Award in Leadership and Management is for those managers who are seeking recognition of the skills and knowledge they have learned through work experience and management practice.
