Bermuda Reserve Police 65th Anniversary
Reserve Commandant Sandra Beach has taken the time to thank everyone that was involved with the Bermuda Reserve Police’s 65th anniversary celebrations, reflecting on a “memorable year of activities and events.”
Reserve Commandant Beach said, “On behalf of the entire Bermuda Reserve Police organization I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all those involved in our 65th Anniversary as our year-long celebrations draw to a close.
“As an organization, we hosted several successful events leading up to the 21st July 2016, our anniversary date, these included a fun walk and codfish breakfast, a games night, the annual Reserve picnic and participation in the annual End-to-End charity walk and bike ride.
“The highlight of our activities was the cocktail reception hosted by His Excellency the Governor at Government House on July 21, 2016.”

“On this occasion, I had the honour of presenting the Governor with a commemorative copy of the book celebrating our 65 years of supporting the Bermuda Police Service.
“It is because of the financial support from our corporate sponsors that we were able to realize our vision of accurately documenting the rich history of the Reserves in this form and also being able to have a number of copies printed for posterity.
“Special acknowledgements must go to The Supermart Limited, Talbot Enterprises, Lindo’s, Flanagan’s, Vieira Aviation, Bonefish Restaurant, Dunkley’s and Island Construction Limited.
“I am truly grateful for the generous support given by the Bermuda Police Service and I am particularly pleased by the commitment shown by the members and friends of the Bermuda Reserve Police in helping make this a memorable year of activities and events.
“The manner in which former and present volunteer officers came together to mark the anniversary has made me extremely proud and reaffirmed the belief that the organization will be able to assist the Bermuda Police Service and the community as a whole for years to come.”
Congratulations and God continue to bless and keep
