BELCO Temporarily Unable To Accept Mastercard
BELCO is advising its customers that, due to a software issue, it is temporarily unable to accept account payments with Mastercard credit cards.
A spokesperson said, “Customers may use the following alternative payment options: cash payments at the BELCO Head Office on Serpentine Road, Somerset and St. George’s locations; online payment at belco.bm or through HSBC, Butterfield and Clarien Bank electronic banking services; payment by cheque through the BELCO Dropbox inside Gibbons Company; no cash payments are accepted; or cash payments at The Money Shop inside the Washington Mall; however, it should be noted that The Money Shop does levy a fee for this service.
“Should customers have any questions or concerns, they may contact BELCO’s Customer Care Department on 299-2800.
“BELCO apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and will continue to work with diligence to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.”
