Public Accounts Committee Meeting On Airport

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Public Accounts will conduct another Public Hearing on Wednesday [Feb 8] at the Anglican Cathedral Church Hall on Church Street, where Airport General Manager Aaron Adderley and Larry Burchall will discuss the proposed airport redevelopment project.

The announcement said, “The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Public Accounts will conduct another Public Hearing on Wednesday, 8th February 2017 at 2:30pm at the Anglican Cathedral Church Hall on Church Street.

“The Standing Committee has invited Mr. Aaron Adderley, General Manager of L.F. Wade International Airport, for his input on a projected $184million price tag to renovate the airport; and Mr. Larry Burchall for his comment and analysis on aspects of the proposed Airport Redevelopment project.

“The Public Accounts Committee is comprised of Members of Parliament and is authorized by the House of Assembly to closely examine and report on matters relating to the accounts of the Government of Bermuda and, in particular, to investigate findings reported by the Auditor General in the Auditor’s Annual and other Special Reports.

“The Chairman of the Committee is Wayne L. Furbert.

“Members of the public are invited to attend and observe the hearing to be held in the Anglican Cathedral Church Hall, Church Street, Hamilton HM 12.”

    Why Larry Burchall? He doesn’t work for the Government. I can’t believe how incredibly stupid the PSC is as a group. It’s totally biased and bent on a PLP agenda. When will we get some smart professionals leading this group.
