Visitor Remains In ICU After Cycle Collision

The 61-year-old American woman who was injured in a collision in Paget on Sunday remains in stable condition in the ICU.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check earlier today [Tuesday, February 7th] the 61-year-old American woman injured around 12:30pm Sunday, February 5th when the rental cycle she was riding collided with a car along South Road in Paget, near the junction with Southcote Road remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“It has since been confirmed that the 15-year-old American male pillion passenger involved was treated for a foot injury at the hospital and discharged.

“Inquiries continue and any witnesses or persons that were traveling in the South Road, Southcote Road Paget area just prior to 12:30pm Sunday should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
