Repairs Taking Place At Library & Perot Verandah

March 7, 2017

Extensive repairs are currently being carried out to the first floor verandah that links the Bermuda National Library, Museum and Perot Post Office on Queen Street, resulting in the verandah and the patio areas beneath these premises being out of use to both the public and staff.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works would like to advise the public that extensive repairs are currently being carried out to the first floor verandah that links the Bermuda National Library, Museum and Perot Post Office on Queen Street.

“Due to these ongoing works, both the verandah and the patio areas only beneath these premises are currently out of use to both the public and staff and have been cordoned off accordingly.

“The Museum and Library continue to remain accessible via the main Library entrance, as is Perot Post Office via its main entrance. The Ministry apologizes for any inconvenience caused.”
