Footballers in the Under 14 and Under 16 divisions in action recently, with Warwick Archers and Devonshire Cougars lifting the Trophy.
Under 14 Knockout Final: Warwick Archers 1 [5] PHC Zebras 1 [4]
The Warwick Archers converted all five of their penalty kicks to lift the Bermuda Football Association’s Under 14 Knockout Trophy at the National Sports Center.
After full time, the teams were deadlocked at 1-1, with Nazye Matthie giving the PHC Zebras the lead in the 29th minute, only to have Shia Smith equalize for the Warwick Archers in the 48th minute.
Under 16 Knockout Final: BAA 0 Devonshire Cougars 1
A single second half strike from Jinairo Johnson earned the Devonshire Cougars a 1 – 0 win over BAA in the Under-16 Knockout Cup Final.
Both teams found the conditions tough, but in the end the Devonshire Cougars did enough to lift the trophy.
