Ashay Presentation On Global Black Inventions
Ashay University will be hosting ‘Global Black Inventions’ on Friday, May 12 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm at Wesley Methodist Church in Hamilton.
Melodye Micere Van Putten said, “The work of Ashay University continues to provide academically-based information about the achievements and struggles of Black people globally as a way to educate, enlighten and elevate.
“On Friday, May 12, I will be presenting a visual, hands-on presentation entitled, “Global Black Inventions” at Wesley Methodist Church in Hamilton. Light refreshments will be served and the presentation is from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
“While open to the public [tickets are $10 and children 12 and under are free], we especially want to invite decision-makers of youth programming to come and witness what Ashay U has to offer for our young people and have the opportunity to utilize the various programmes as a resource for enrichment.
“Tickets are available at 27th Century Boutique and at Wesley Methodist Church Office on Tuesdays through Thursday from 10.00am to 2.00pm, as well as the individuals listed on the flyer.”
