BCGC Cooperative Relationship With NJ Division
The Bermuda Casino Gaming Commission [BCGC] announced the “formalization of a cooperative relationship with the State of New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement [DGE].”
The Commission said the relationship agreed to will allow the BCGC and DGE to share information on all matters involving the regulation of gaming.
Richard Schuetz, the Executive Director of the BCGC provided the following comments concerning this agreement: “The DGE is one of the most well-respected regulatory agencies in the world.
“Our ability to work with them will allow us to expedite many regulatory processes, as well as helping us ensure that the people and firms-allowed to do business in Bermuda operate with the highest levels of character, honesty and integrity.”
The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement is a law enforcement agency in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General that was founded in 1977 and currently has 280 dedicated employees overseeing the Atlantic City casino industry.
It has offices in both Trenton and Atlantic City, and the Director is appointed by the Governor.
