BEF 2016/17 Championship Awards Ceremony

The Bermuda Equestrian Federation held its 2016/17 Awards Ceremony on Saturday, 10th June.

BEF Championship winners, from over 30 different categories, were presented Championship Awards, which were determined from accumulated points acquired during the 2016/17 show season.

Junior BEF member, Casey Truran was awarded the DeCosta Construction Ltd. trophy as the junior competitor achieving the most points overall.

Casey also secured the Raymond White Memorial Trophy, the Jenerations Debut Trophy, the Shalimar Trophy the Little Orvy Trophy as well as the BHPA Trophy for the Champion Junior Equitation in the 15-18 year group division.

Securing the Inwood Trophy for the Adult competitor achieving the most overall points was Kirista Rabin. In addition to this award, Kirista was also awarded the BEF Award for the Adult Equitation Champion and the Campbell Wilkinson Trophy.

The 2016/17 Coach Award was presented to Michael Rodrigues and the Stable Award was presented to Inwood Stables.

BEF President, Ian Truran, presented Jim Michelsen with the President’s Award in recognition to Mr. Michelsen’s valuable contribution and support, and the BEF extending its congratulations to all equestrian competitors and volunteers who were recognized for their achievements.
