JetBlue Flight Diverts Due To Sick Passenger
At around 2:40am this morning [July 31], a JetBlue flight — on route from Santo Domingo to New York — diverted to Bermuda due to a 55-year-old male needing medical attention.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 2:40am this morning [Monday 31st July 2017], JetBlue flight B610 on route from Santo Domingo to JFK New York was diverted to Bermuda, as a result of a 55-year-old male needing medical assistance.
“Emergency personnel were on hand to meet the flight and transported the male to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment.
“At last check the male was being treated in the emergency room however he will eventually be admitted to a surgical ward for further treatment.
“Jet Blue flight B610 is scheduled to depart LF Wade International Airport around 8:30am today.“
