Motorcyclist Injured In Devonshire Collision
Emergency services responded to a collision on Saturday night [July 1] involving a car and a motorcycle which resulted in the rider being transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 11pm Saturday, July 1st police and first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Watlington Road East and Brighton Hill Road in Devonshire involving a car and a motorcycle.
“Details remain limited at this time.
“However the motorcyclist, believed to be a 52 year old man, was injured and transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
“Initial information suggests that his injuries are serious but not life threatening at this time and a condition update will be provided in due course.
“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
