Hockey: Bermuda Defeat Shippensburg 2 – 0
The Bermuda Women’s National Field Hockey team defeated NCAA Division II National Champions Shippensburg University at the National Sports Center.
Bermuda took the lead in the 10th minute when Alex Francis scored from a Penalty Corner.
The teams would go to the halftime break with Bermuda leading 1 – 0.
The second half saw only one goal as well and that came off the stick of Maya Palacio, she connected with a Field Goal in the 65th minute to earn Bermuda the 2 – 0 win.
