With the position of Municipal Residents’ Councillor in St. George’s going uncontested through the close of nomination day yesterday [Aug 31], George Stephen Dowling III now holds the seat.
A spokesperson said, “The Parliamentary Registry wishes to advise that at the close of Nomination Day, Thursday 31st August, 2017, in the Municipality of St. George’s, the position of Municipal Residents’ Councillor was uncontested.
“Therefore, Mr. George Stephen Dowling III now holds the seat of Municipal Residents’ Councillor in the Corporation of St. George’s.”
