BSSF Primary School Swimming Championships
Warwick Academy continued their winning ways in the pool as they won the BSSF Primary School Swimming Championships at the National Sports Center.
Warwick Academy won comfortably with a total of 242 overall points. Saltus Grammar School finished second on 168 followed closely by Somersfield Academy with 164.
Warwick Academy came on top in the Boys Division with 136 points followed by Saltus on 89 and Somersfield Academy on 80.
Bermuda High School won the Girls Division with 109 points. Warwick were only three points back on 106 with Somersfield finishing third on 84 points.
Arabella Derbyshire from BHS was the top performer in the Under 9 Division winning the Butterfly, Backstroke and Freestyle events.
Marleigh Howes from Warwick Academy won the same three events in the Under 10 Division while Imojen Judd from Somersfield Academy claimed Gold Medals in the Individual Medley, Freestyle and Backstroke events.
Connor Hupman from Saltus was the big winner in the Boys Under 9 Division winning the Butterfly, Breastroke and Freestyle races. Warwick Academy’s Luke Horan won the Under 10 Freestyle and Breastroke races with school mate Monty Hastings leading the way in the Over 10 Freestyle and Butterfly.
