Court: Simmons Denies Attempted Murder
In today’s [Oct 2] Supreme Court Monthly Arraignments session, Carlton Simmons pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted murder.
Mr Simmons, a former Alderman with the Corporation of Hamilton, has been charged with the attempted murder of Jahkeil Samuels at Ambiance Lounge on Angle Street in Hamilton, with the incident allegedly occurring in August of this year.
Represented by Saul Frookmin QC, Mr Simmons, 40, was given a trial date, and his bail will continue.
