Fire Service Extinguish Car Fire In St. David’s
The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a vehicle fire on Sofar Lane in St. Davids at approximately 2:52am this morning [Oct 30].
“Two firefighters dressed in full protective gear then used a combination of water and foam to extinguish the fire due to its intensity,” the BFRS said.
Fire Service spokesperson Staff Officer Delton White said, “The vehicle was reported by a witness to have visible smoke and flames emitting.
The Fire Service responded to the incident with one vehicle staffed with four firefighters. On arrival they found two vehicles; one fully involved with fire and the other with fire in the rear section.
“Two firefighters dressed in full protective gear then used a combination of water and foam to extinguish the fire due to its intensity.
“There was nobody hurt as a result of this incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.”
