Advisory: Remembrance Day Waste Collection
The Department of Waste Management is advising of holiday waste collection dates.
“Due to the observance of Remembrance Day on Monday, November 13th 2017, east-end waste will be collected next Tuesday and Friday [Nov. 14 & Nov. 17],” a spokesperson said.
“West-end waste will be collected next Wednesday and Thursday [Nov. 16 & Nov. 15]. Recyclables will be collected the following week on Thursday, November 23rd in the west and Friday November 24th in the east.
“Further information about waste and recycling collection can be found in the 2017 Garbage and Recycling schedule located in the blue pages of the BTC phone book, or downloaded from www.gov.bm.
For further information about waste management telephone 278-0560, and the Ministry said to “please note that the published 2017 Garbage and Recycling calendar erroneously indicates that west-end garbage will be collected on Thursday only.”
