Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, a Fairmont managed property, has taken part in AccorHotels’ ‘Welcome Heroes’ initiative, by honouring Bermuda’s first responders.
Fifty emergency medical technicians [EMTS] and firefighters were invited to attend a luncheon at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club on Monday, November 20. These first responders were selected by the Bermuda Hospitals Board Chief EMT Officer and the Fire Commissioner.
Diarmaid O’Sullivan, Director of Marketing at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, said: “We are honoured to have been able to host 50 of Bermuda’s finest at this celebration event, as part of AccorHotels’ WelcomeHeroes initiative. This is our way of showing our appreciation for the everyday heroes in the community, who do so much for us.”

In November 2017, AccorHotels will be honouring everyday heroes – men and women, such as firefighters, nurses, teachers, craftspeople, small businesses and local residents – who work each day to serve their communities, in more than 1,900 establishments around the world, including at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.
“This global event is an opportunity for the Group and its more than 250,000 employees to thank the people who are committed to serving their communities by sharing a special moment with them,” the hotel said.
“This will also be an opportunity for hotel staff to showcase their establishments, which are also deeply rooted in the life of their neighbourhood, and to encourage local residents to go through their doors more often, without actually having to book a room!
