Elliot Street Car Park To Close Until December 4

November 21, 2017

Elliot Street car park will be closed on Thursday [Nov 23], and is set to re-open for use on December 4th, with the City saying the “closure is necessary to complete the replanting of trees, trenching works and the installation of new lighting, CCTV cameras, the paystations and barrier equipment.”

The City of Hamilton spokesperson said, “Following on from the previous press release, Elliot Street car park will be completely closed from Thursday, 23rd November, re-opening for use on Monday 4th December.

“This closure is necessary to complete the replanting of trees, trenching works and the installation of new lighting, CCTV cameras, the paystations and barrier equipment.

“It should be noted that the main entrance of Bull’s Head car park will re-open for normal use on Thursday, 23rd November providing adequate space for those motorists who normally use Elliot St. Additionally, PLV car park is an all-day car park and has plenty of available parking bays.

“The City of Hamilton thanks the motoring public for their continued patience as we make these upgrades.

“Any questions regarding the above may be directed to Ian Hind, Senior Engineer on 279-5250 or email ihind@cityhall.bm.”
