Attempted Robbery At Arnold’s In Pembroke

An attempted robbery took place at Arnold’s on St. Johns Road in Pembroke early Sunday morning, with a man “with a weapon” demanding money, however he left the area after the cashier refused to give him money.

“At 6:40am on Sunday, police responded to a report of an attempted robbery that took place at Arnold’s Supermarket on St. Johns Road in Pembroke,” a police spokesperson said.

“It appears that a black male walked into the establishment with a weapon, and made demands of money. The cashier refused to give him money and he left the area. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have any information to contact CID on 295-0011.”

    Police are appealing for witnesses. They are looking for a black male. That’s helpful. Please, keep us guessing as to his height, weight, age, clothing, and anything else that may help to narrow it down a bit.

      Or at least put the CCTV footage on the news so parents, family or friends can identify the culprit in action.
