Asphalting On Front Street On February 16
The City of Hamilton advised that asphalting of the westbound parking lane on Front Street, between Parliament Street and Burnaby Hill, will commence early tomorrow morning [Feb 16] and is expected to be completed before the evening rush hour.
A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton advises the public that asphalting of the westbound parking lane on Front Street, between Parliament Street and Burnaby Hill, will commence early tomorrow morning [February 16th] and is expected to be completed before the evening rush hour.
“This necessary work is part of the upgrades around the City that must take place as per the required course conditions for the MS Amlin World Triathlon in April.
“No. 5 car park, the westbound parking lane and the east bound parking lane opposite the asphalting works will all be closed to parking tomorrow. The City advises that there may be a short time period when the westbound driving lane may be closed during the work. There will be diversion signage in place when this happens and for the duration of the asphalting.
“The City apologizes for any inconvenience caused during this time and urges all motorists to use caution when traveling in the affected area.”
