Court: Premeditated Murder Trial Pushed Back

A man up for premeditated murder had his trial pushed back as the prosecution did not give his lawyer any papers.
Khyri Smith-Williams is facing two counts, premeditated murder and using a firearm while committing an indictable offence.
His lawyer, Charles Richardson, told Puisne Judge Charles Etta-Simmons “I don’t have one stitch of evidence, but I am told I will get some later.”
Mr Richardson added his client has been sitting in prison waiting for the trial to begin and “that’s completely unfair to him.
The case was adjourned to March 1.
