Van Crashes Into Wall In Sandys, Lands On Side
[Updated] There was a collision in Sandys this evening [Feb 6], which involved a van crashing into a wall and ending up on its side, and according to the police, no one was injured.
“Collision in Somerset this evening. Truck versus wall. Looks like the wall won again! No injuries fortunately,” the police tweeted, along with a version of the photo below.
Emergency personnel attended the scene and a tow truck came and removed the van at approximately 6.30pm.
Update Feb 7, 11.59am: A police spokesperson said, “Around 5:20pm Tuesday, February 6th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle damage only crash near the junction of Somerset Road and West Side Road in Sandys parish.
“It appears that a van being driven along Somerset Road struck a wall and ended up on its side.
“There were no injuries reported. However, the van and wall were damaged.
“Any witnesses are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”

They have their fair share of crashes every year. Type “Police Car Crashes Into Wall” on the Bernews search box, that wall won also!
He actually wrote HIT ME on the wall because it has been hit so many times before.
Next he will beef up the wall even more & add a big cut out of Clint Eastwood standing behind the wall. Maybe add another sign with vehicles on it. One for every vehicle that has crashed into the wall.
I thought our new transport minister was going to stop all this, anyone seen or heard from him!
