Church Hosts Grateful Bread Feeding Program

Premier David Burt together with his wife Kristin, their children and MP Zane DeSilva volunteered their time to the Grateful Bread monthly feeding programme at St. Andrew’s Church.

The service is offered every last Thursday of the month, at Astwood Hall, St. Andrew’s Church on the corner of Church and Court Streets.

Meals are served from 6pm to 7:30pm. The programme is organized by Juliana Snelling, Diane Steede and Suzi Outerbridge.

Premier Burt stated, “Meal programmes like the Grateful Bread are important to our community. Volunteers come together to help those who need extra support. My family and I were happy to volunteer, we had a chance to talk with those involved and lend a helping hand.”
