East End Southside BECL To Shut Down At 1PM

Bermuda Emissions Control Ltd [BECL] will shut down their east end Southside testing facility at 1.00pm today [March 2] after the Bermuda Land Development Corporation [BLDC] discovered a water break in an area between Commercial Park and the St. David’s roundabout at the end of Kindley Field Road.

A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Emissions Control Ltd [BECL] will shut down their east end Southside testing facility at 1.00pm today [March 2] because of a water mains issue in the east end.

“The Bermuda Land Development Corporation discovered a water break in an area between Commercial Park and the St. David’s roundabout at the end of Kindley Field Road.

“The BLDC said the water mains was due to be shut off at 1pm to allow for necessary repairs that could take several hours.
