BELCO Update: 937 Customers Without Power
937 customers remain without power this afternoon [March 6] due to weather related outages, BELCO has confirmed.
The company said, “As of 12:40pm this afternoon, 937 customers remain without power, all due to weather related outages. This is down from approximately 3498 at 9:45am. The largest outage is in the Harrington Sound area [533 customers out] as a result of a blown transformer.
“Approximately 200 customers are out in Point Shares and the remaining outages are in small pockets across the Island. BELCO Crews will continue restoration efforts throughout the day and evening as necessary.”
