Armed Robbery At Just Rite In Pembroke

Police responded to an armed robbery that took place at Just Rite on Marsh Folly Road in Pembroke this afternoon, with a man “given an undisclosed amount of money” after he “brandished what appeared to be a firearm.”

A Police spokesperson said, “Police responded to a report of an armed robbery that took at Just Rite on Marsh Folly Road in Pembroke at a few minutes after 3pm today [Thursday].

“It appears that a male entered the store and brandished what appeared to be a firearm and made demands of money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and he then left the area on Black scrambler with white fenders.

“Police are currently processing the scene and we are interesting in speaking with anyone who may have any information that can lead to the arrest of the individual[s] who planned and carried out this robbery.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police CID on 295-0011. We are also encouraging you to contact the confidential and anonymous crimestoppers hotline on 800-8477.”
